Power Up Your SPIRIT
Work hard so you can present yourself to God and receive his approval. Be a good worker, one who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly explains the word of truth.

There’s a principle that has helped me keep my head up, even when others get reprimanded.
Here it is:
The Principle of Blamelessness
This means, “Do your part and let others do theirs. Don’t decide to neglect your responsibility because others decided to neglect theirs”.
To explain further:
- When others decide to be mediocre, choose excellence
- When others decide to be lazy, keep working hard
- When the world treats your faith as archaic, keep striving to be like Christ.
This doesn’t mean that sometimes you won’t get mistakenly accused, or punished for something you never did, but your reputation will precede you.
The religious leaders had nothing on Jesus because He followed this same principle, and it helped Him stand out.
He was crucified because of it too, just like you and I would be (not on the cross though). But the world did not see the glory that would come after the suffering. You must see the glory.
Can you do this on your own? No.
The Holy Spirit is there to help. Ask Him.
Hack Your BODY
If I am pushed to compromise my excellence at work, how can I fight it?
One word: Wisdom.
Sometimes it’s difficult to wiggle your way out of a compromising situation, especially when you know the stakes are high.
But remember that Jesus knew…
when to talk back to the Pharisees,
when to say parables to them, and
when to flee from the vicinity.
These were different scenarios that could compromise his message, yet he knew the right way to handle each one.
Sometimes you may need to…
- Outrightly decline the compromising offer,
- Avoid the conversation, or
- Escalate to your superior/business partner and determine the next steps.
The bottom line is to ensure you can live with the decisions you make.
Be wise.
