I believe everyone should strive for more wisdom. You can never be too wise because there will always be someone wiser. But you can have just the wisdom you need for specific situations.Wisdom on its own is a qualifier. It sets you apart, causing others to perceive you as someone who is older or has more life experience. So automatically, you shine where others don’t.It’s like knowing your craft so well that when a newbie brings something to you for review, at a glance, you can almost sit the person down and outline why what they did didn’t hit the mark. You can easily spot what’s good and what isn’t.But then there’s divine wisdom that starts with God. This isn’t dependent on how much experience you have, but on the depth of your relationship with God.You make the right choices that even experts would miss. This is not because you’re smarter than them. It’s because you have someone whispering in your ear, telling you, “This is the way to go.”.
How can wisdom improve how we work and serve others?
If you only desire wisdom so that you shine for personal purposes, you probably won’t get it. It’s for those who are actively seeking opportunities to spread God’s love to others.Work is a channel of service, and when wisdom becomes the key ingredient, you qualify for the second part of the anchor scripture.Through the work you do, which serves others the way God desires, people use your solutions to live differently. Something improves in their lives, and that’s because you’ve chosen to be a beacon.The exceptional work you’ve been empowered to do has one purpose: for God’s will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. And that “will” has many expressions, some of which you won’t know.God is a spirit, and He won’t do anything here without the permission of man. When you do the work that you’ve been called to do, you create a portal through which God’s will is established in your life and the lives of others. Part of that will is for everyone to do what is right.So, if you want to leave a legacy that will cause you to be remembered for good, this is the roadmap.
“From now on, I become intentional about how my work serves others.”
Caring only for yourself is not a kingdom virtue. As you love yourself more and express it through your actions, you begin to spread that love to others. That’s when your work contributes.Outline the different ways you serve others, and don’t stop doing them.
