‭‭ You Have So Much to Give.

“But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.” II Corinthians‬ ‭9:6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

The interesting fact about fruits and seeds is that you can count the number of seeds in a fruit when you open it. But only God knows the number of fruits one seed can produce when planted.

What this means is simple: When you get paid for something you did, you receive a fixed amount of money. You can count the money and plan a budget.

But when you are led to give a part of that money to someone else, it is very limiting to think you are supposed to get that same amount back from God. It is even more limiting to think your reward will return as money.

When God decides to cause that seed to germinate, even you will not fathom the fruits that come from it.

This is why you can’t consume and hoard everything you have and receive. Money, time, talents, skills, and words are all seeds. And because all things come from God, He gets to decide what dimension they return as.

How do we sow through work?

When God created man, He placed him in a garden and gave him work to do (cultivate and keep the garden). Every time Adam did this work, the trees stayed healthy and yielded more fruit, the animals thrived, and he also had more than enough to eat.

Today, all we’re doing is cultivating and keeping whatever garden God has placed us in. Your business is a garden, and every time you remove weeds and prune branches by investing your talents and skills, avoiding distractions, taking care of your team, or ensuring efficient delivery of products and services, that business thrives.

Your family is a garden, and when you invest your time, care, love, and attention, you reap the rewards. Every relationship you have is a garden. If it’s not cultivated, the relationship dies.

Don’t limit your mind to thinking that it’s only when you give to the poor that you sow. Giving to the poor is one of the many channels through which seeds grow.

So what seeds are you planting today?

“I choose to sow seeds daily. Here’s a list of every possible seed I possess that I can sow…”

You can’t imagine the number of seeds within and around you. Even abilities you have that others don’t have become seeds when you use those abilities to help someone else.

So take stock of what your mind can recognize as a seed. Make a list, and you’ll realize how much you have to give and how little you have given so far.
