Sometimes God places us at the forefront by putting us behind someone else. Deep down we want to be known for something, and that usually means being the main person in the picture. But it isn’t always the case.
As someone who has been involved in the Helps ministry and industry for almost a decade, I have experienced first-hand that you can be relevant and not be the man with the vision.
From the focus scripture, Bezalel was the craftsman that God empowered. But then He knew that Bezalel needed help, so God empowered Oholiab too, filling him with the same spirit of wisdom.
Sometimes collaborating with clients or helping a CEO move their organisation forward can look irrelevant because you think only the CEO is relevant. But in your own ability, you are relevant and get to earn a spot in the history books, just like Oholiab.
The requirement is simple: help the man in front fulfil his mission with your whole heart and you will fulfil your mission too. You also count!
