From the beginning, work was directly connected to purpose, and not something you do in order to fund your purpose.
When your work is your purpose, it has freedom, life, fulfilment, joy, love, contentment and peace written all over it.
When you work for the promise of eventually funding your purpose later in life, the likelihood of it being bondage, depression, hate and stress is higher than average.
This doesn’t mean that anything you do that causes you stress is not your calling. That comes when you don’t let your mind rest. Even God rested from creation. You should too.
However, if you’re not able to directly (emphasis on directly) connect your work with what you’ve been called to do, then work could become anything but good.
Most people will not be able to point out this direct connection because of false motivations.
When your sole motivation is money, then nothing concerns you about purpose. However, if you’re spiritually sensitive and have an innate desire to please the Father, you’ll know.
Money is a good and viable source of motivation. But it should not be the principal thing. Money is simply a reward for value. And the work you’ve been called to do will involve a lot of value exchange because it is value in itself.
So if your work starts to feel like bondage, check it’s direct connection with purpose and your motivations. If He says you’re on track, then that bondage you see will start to look like training ground.
