“From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded…” Luke 12:48 NIV
Sometimes I like to think that it’s better not to have anything to give so that nothing is demanded from you. At least, if you don’t see apples in my hand, you won’t ask me to give you one. But then, where’s the fulfilment in that? What then will be my contribution? The fact remains that such a person doesn’t exist. Everyone has something to give, no matter how ordinary it looks.
Since I started this newsletter, I have become more open to volunteering. Even though I started my career giving value in the form of services for free, now about a decade later I decided to be intentional about volunteering when I niched down on whom I’d like to serve.
So, I signed up on MicroMentor and had the opportunity to see just how different ideas can be as well as the superpowers I had. From redefining customer acquisition for a passionate MedTech Startup Founder to helping an Agency with a structure for monetisation, I had something small to give.
Although I’ve never opened free coaching hours here on LinkedIn, I’ve had a few subscribers send me DMs seeking clarity on the best career trajectory to follow so they build something they’re passionate about. It’s at this point I realised that what comes easy to me may not come easy to others. And that’s the same thing for you. Your superpower is someone else’s salvation.
If you have a passion project that you’re having a tough time starting in your job or as a side project perhaps because you doubt the idea/your gifts or need clarity on aspects you’re not too knowledgeable about, you can send me a DM here on LinkedIn. Or you’ve started your project but are overwhelmed with the amount of time and skill required to sustainably run it, a conversation can help you simplify it.
For a limited time, I’m opening free 30-minute coaching sessions for people who fall in the categories above. If that’s you, then I look forward to helping you set your passion project on the right path to the results you seek. Send me a DM.
