Some companies use key cards to give employees access to the premises. If the employee is part of the company, they have a key card.Each time they report to work and use the key card at the entrance, the system always recognises it and lets them in. Once they’re in, they have access to everything the company has to offer.They don’t need to be the CEO. They don’t need to change their personalities or use surgery to change how they look. They just need a key card.Peace with God is possible for anyone with that key card—Jesus Christ. To get the key card, we did not need to prove that we were good. We got it by faith.Not only that, but the key card gives us access to the highest level of authority. So, we can walk into God’s office without feeling like we’re violating any rules. Security will not need to bundle us out, and the secretary has nothing on us.
How does easy access to God empower us to work?
In big, structured organisations, not everyone has access to the highest level of authority. Most employees only get to see the CEO when he arrives, leaves, walks through the building, or speaks at team meetings and conferences. One-on-one conversations are sometimes restricted or impossible.So, if that employee needs a level of support for a project that his line manager has refused to give, his options are limited. It doesn’t matter whether the CEO is an avid supporter of such a project, the access isn’t there.But here we are, with direct access to God’s office in the penthouse. We walk in and out at will and can discuss our ongoing projects with Him, getting direct feedback and accessing all the resources we may need.Because we know that we have this access, we enter with boldness, not guilt or timidity. So, as we discuss the work He gave us to build his “company,” we can get all the empowerment we want. As long as we are willing, He is able.

It’s God’s work, and if we have issues with anything, we can go back to Him and do what any responsible employee will do, show gratitude for the opportunity, and then table our concerns with the intent to get a solution.God knows the impact of what we do on the kingdom, and He wants that impact to be felt. He is waiting and eager to help.
