The One-legged Conductor

I once saw a bus conductor with one leg hopping along the roadside calling passengers. I just stood and stared because it looked intriguing.

Sometime later, I saw another guy with just one leg. But this guy was a beggar. Now I felt I had more reason to keep my money to myself.

But it simply made me wonder how people can use different things to their advantage. Out of our weaknesses, we can extract strengths. The threats around us can be used as opportunities. It simply means we have no excuse.

Perhaps when faced with a challenge that seems insurmountable, instead of saying, "I can't accomplish this because I don't have what I need", we could say, "Let me see what I have that can help me accomplish this."
