No matter the position, everyone must answer to someone or a group of people.
For some, it’s their boss. For others, it’s their conscience.
Sometimes it could be the opinions of others that determine the actions of some.
Everyone learns submission in one way or the other. Believing that you’re influenced by nobody or nothing is just a deceptive thought.
For most things that I do (including work), my spirit (the CEO) calls a meeting with the rest of the governing council and tables his request. It’s then up to the Chairman of the Board (God the Father) to approve or decline.
If approved, the CEO instructs the Chief Operations Officer (my brain) on what to do. The rest is history.
We had to table my one week sabbatical from writing to the Governing council. I don’t know the end result, but all I know is my brain shut down from any writing. So I guess it was approved then :D.
Whether you like it or not, you have a Governing Council? Who are the beings included on that Board? Is the devil sitted there as well?
Saul had the opinions of his subjects on his governing council. He lost his kingdom because of that (1 Samuel 15:21).
And if you feel you don’t have such a council, create one (Proverbs 3:5-6).
