Quick question: Should you pursue money?
I’ll let you answer that question in the next 5 seconds.
My unapologetic answer is NO. Let me explain before you bite me…
Everything in life has its place. And it’s important for you to understand that nobody was created for the sole purpose of making money. We’re here to solve problems. When you solve a problem, you bless another life.
So really, blessing others according to God’s will for you is what we all should pursue. Where does money now come in?
Money simply helps us run faster. It’s a means of transportation to a destination. The magnitude of impact you want to make will help you identify the money you need, then you create the value that attracts that kind of money.
Sometimes, you’ll directly attract the money to yourself, like businesses do. Other times, you’ll attract the network of people with that money, like non-profits, religious institutions and other social workers. Then you channel it.
But if you make money the ultimate, just imagine driving around a roundabout 24/7. Pointless and tiring.
