Power Up Your SPIRIT
“Be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the Lord.”
Psalms 31:24 HCSB
What do you need strength for?
What do you need courage for?
What do you hope for?
A few years ago, I needed strength to go through each day. I was often exhausted even at the beginning of each day because of the unfulfilment I felt.
I needed the courage to do what was necessary. I wanted to take a huge step by leaving the organisation, but I was too afraid to do it. I was concerned about my security, what people would say, etc.
But I had hope for a better and different future where I was excited to work each day because I found fulfilment in my hours.
To make all these happen, I needed to run to God, which I did. And one domino after the next, these experiences became past tense. The hope is also now nearer and possible than ever.
I don’t know where you are right now, but I know you hope for a future that’s better than your current position.
David says once you put your hope in God, you begin to experience strength and courage to make that hope come alive because God starts working in you.
So, I’ll say to you today…
Be strong.
Conquer that fear.
Be hopeful.
Hack Your BODY
Can we really have the perfect work-life experience?
Perfection, in this sense, means different things to everyone. My version of such an experience will be different from yours because my past experiences, goals and life situations are unique to me.
But know this: Possibility gives us hope.
If you feel something is impossible, then there’s no hope left.
What do you want your work-life to look like? Do you want to raise a family, build a big company, or both?
Do you want to work from the beach, help others from the heart of a rehabilitation centre, or feed people through your farm in the countryside? Your belief in the possibility of that experience will give you hope.
So, you better believe that you can have the good life you want.
This is non-negotiable.
