“In that day new wine will run from the mountains. And milk will run from the hills. All the valleys of Judah will have rivers of water…” Joel 3:18 EASY
There are days when you’ll feel like stopping everything.
…when you just won’t have the motivation to work.
…when the passion you thought you had just becomes non-existent.
…when everything happening around you looks like nothing you prayed for.
…when it feels like you’re never going to “make it”.
What do you do on such days?
Remember and then, be hopeful.
You’ve had times when you were bustling with energy…
…when every single thing you did was exciting and interesting…
…when you had the motivation and passion of 10 people.
Remembering such events help you realise that what you’re going through is just temporary. It’s such memories that make you grateful for what you’ve been through. And they make you hopeful for where you’re going.
The highs and lows will never cease. But when the lows come, remember what the highs felt like, and be hopeful that you’ll have such experiences again.
Remembering isn’t enough because it could get you depressed (I know this :)). But hope puts your heart in the right direction for the work ahead.
Time to get up and move. The world awaits.
