The higher you go, the more “all-knowing” you have to be.
Why?
It gets tougher as you go higher. More is required from you. You’re expected to be Superman who can solve anything.
If a security guard thinks he’s under pressure, let him step into the shoes of the CEO of the company for one day and he’ll understand pressure.
That doesn’t mean one person’s job is more important than the other. It simply means thank God for your pressure.
Humans know a lot, but we can never be all knowing. This attribute becomes a very important requirement as you grow. It’s the reason why little children ask so many questions. After all, “Mummy and Daddy know everything”.
So if as a human, you’re not all-knowing, then how can you acquire that skill?
You have to connect to the source that’s all-knowing.
When you see a leader who boasts about himself, exhibits pride and makes you understand that he doesn’t take orders from anyone (since he’s the leader), then there’s only one thing you must do:
Flee!
Why?
When the project, group, or organisation runs into a fix, he won’t have the humility to ask for help. And that’s bad news.
As influential as he was, Jesus still took time out daily to ask for direction. His disciples knew this and probably always expected weird instructions from him (Mark 1:35-39).
If you desire to go really high, you’ll need to be able to make more critical decisions. Regardless of whether you’re an employee, run a small business, or are the owner of a million dollar empire, don’t be a time bomb waiting to explode.
Be a follower.
