Nothing beats application.

I have books in my library I’m yet to read cover to cover. Sometimes I feel bad that I’m yet to open them. At other times, I feel grateful for the ones I have opened and applied.
I’ve never really participated in a book reading challenge. I always read with a jotter and pen by my side, so how am I supposed to consume 20 non-fiction books in one month, jot down what I read and still work during the day? I never got that right.
Books contain the experiences of people that you may not be able to reach physically, so you can learn from them. But what do you do with advice? You sieve it, and apply the ones that matter to you.
As you read, relate the lessons to your personal life and how you can apply that piece of wisdom contained in that book. You don’t read your way to success, you apply your way to it.
You can apply anything, once you put your mind to it. Yes you can!
