Are you striving to be different or better than others?
We love saying, “Everyone is unique”, but yet we’re quick to compare ourselves with others, whether it’s our accomplishments, looks, possessions, etc.
So what’s the point in being unique if all we want to do is be better than the next person?
To be unique means to be different and to do things differently. It’s what births your USP (Unique Selling Point) and gives you an edge over millions of other people who have the same talents, knowledge and passions like you.
There are many times I’d look at other people and the comparison would almost ruin my day. But the Holy Spirit would always remind me to stay on my lane because we’re different.
Our unique experiences in life influence how passionately we work. When you become vulnerable enough to infuse your experiences into your message and drive, you’ve succeeded in creating a story that makes you different. The result of your work then looks “better” than everyone else’s. Galatians 6:4.
So again, why do you do what you do?
