Have you ever been in so much trouble that you felt the world should end and swallow you up?
Have you ever felt so tired of a situation that you couldn’t find the strength to hope for a miracle?
One thing I know is that God loves to make a grand entrance. He does this to show you and me that we can only do so much on our own. We don’t have total power over some situations, and when we need Him to step in, He does.
“When there’s life, there’s hope” is something we all like to say. It’s how we tell ourselves that things will get better. This hope is what makes life possible.
Hope is also the key ingredient for faith. You must hope for something before believing you have received it.
Some situations can look hopeless. But if we can make the switch and say “God will hear us” like Micah, He will show up and empower us for what’s ahead.
Can God show up for us even when we choose to do things the wrong way?
Early on in my career as a digital marketing professional, I decided to try a terrible strategy to get customers for my business.
I did an exposé on an influencer, profiling the good work he did. I then used a powerful tool to blast the link to all his social media followers. I didn’t think there was anything wrong with that because the tool was a public one.
Before long, I noticed his followers started tagging him, calling out my message, saying it was spammy and he should do something about it. That’s when I knew there was trouble.
I stopped using the tool, but the damage was done. Hundreds of people banned my link, and all I could do was pray to God to have mercy. I told my wife (then fiancée) what happened and how I may have gotten into a legal mess.
The influencer eventually sent me a polite email telling me to delete the post, explaining how he could have sued me for hundreds of thousands of dollars. I thanked him, followed his advice, and never tried anything shady again.
The funny thing is, some of his fans emailed me asking for my secret on how I did it so they could replicate it. But I wasn’t ready to spread bad advice.
Even when I did what was wrong and ran to God innocently for help, He did save me. It made me realize that He could show up for the simpler situations too.

Our current challenge can look so larger than life that we do not remember our blessings. Each new miracle prepares us for the next.
Recall earlier miracles you have experienced. This will give you hope for your current situation and confidence to say, “Abba Father”.
