How Far Can You See?

Are you sufficient enough to achieve the vision of the future that you have in your mind?

I used to wonder why we were advised to set big visions – somwtimes too big for us to achieve. I mean, “why would I set something that’s unachievable?” I’d say to myself. So I did the exact opposite and paid for it dearly.

I’d start projects and end them because I could no longer see growth opportunities after reaching the benchmark. There was never a “what next” for such projects because I had made sure a that their future wasn’t even bright from the beginning.

Now, when an idea drops in my mind and I can’t see a massive future with multiple growth opportunities, I keep that idea in the cooler to incubate. I cannot kill myself please.

When someone approaches me with an offer for partnership and it’s difficult for me to have a vision that’s beyond what I can pull off, I turn it down. This doesn’t make the project bad, but if I can’t see a “Wow” future in it that I’ll be passionate about, I’d rather not get started.

I serve a big God, and He doesn’t do small things. So why should I limit His power by belittling my ability to create big things too? After all, it doesn’t matter how large or far the vision is. When I get stuck, He’s there to help make a way and guide me through.

You can achieve bigger things too. As far as you can see, God is ready to take you there. The question is how far can you see?
