“…With him on my side I’m fearless, afraid of no one and nothing.” Psalm 27:1 MSG
Fear exists. I know many motivational speakers have said Fear is just a thing of the mind and it is powerless, but Fear becomes as strong as you make it and as real as you want it to be.
We all have fears, and to disregard them is denial. From what I have learned over the past year of learning about faith, I know that Fear is a product of false knowledge and simply needs to be replaced. Adam was the first man to express Fear and God knew he had heard something contrary to the original instructions.
Then Christ came so that we live by faith because living by sight has Fear written all over it. I have experienced my fair share of fears and if I must say, I am currently in a battle with some fears that get the best of me.
So, while this post is for you, it is also for me. It is a call to action to do the work needed, using our ability, and allow God to do the rest.
God is just waiting for us to do what we can, then He will do what we can’t. Never forget this!
So as you continue with work today, remember to do one small task that challenges the Fear you feel. I believe that as we gradually scrape away parts of the boulder, it will disappear with time. Eventually, we will be able to move whole mountains in an instant, and they’ll obey.
Today’s Task: What are you supposed to do but are too afraid to do? Identify a very small part of it, make it a task and tick it off your to-do list today.
Answer This…
