SPIRIT
“But I tell you who hear me: Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you.”
Luke 6:27-28 GNT
How do you show love to people who make work more difficult for you? How do you pray for people who unintentionally choose not to be excellent at what they do?
I don’t know because it is not human to do so. But this was what God instructed me to do so I could heal from any remnant of bitterness that may have existed in my heart towards team members.
When you strive to do what is right, and it looks like others don’t care, over some time, you can begin to feel negatively towards them. However, when you submit your emotions to God, He redefines how you should feel by giving you pointers on what to do.
God is love, and we are to show this love to those we work with, no matter how excellent or mediocre they may seem.
BODY
How can we stay committed to our work even when others seem to frustrate our efforts?
First, understand that most likely, those you work with are not out to get you. They just don’t know what it means to have your standards.
Knowing this, always be willing to correct softly and look the other way when something doesn’t go as planned. Doing good work requires patience. With the Holy Spirit in you, you can show that love.
SOUL
“If one word could describe the kind of person I want to be today, then that word is …”

You can define this for yourself every day. Today you can choose to be calm and tomorrow you become playful. It is up to you.
