Fear Can’t Hold You Back After This

“For “whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.” ’’
Romans 10:13 NKJV

On this journey to fulfilling purpose, there are two types of risks: the risk of action and the risk of inaction.

The risk of action refers to things that could happen when you act on what God has placed in your heart. Some of such risks include:

1. Leaving the known for an unknown adventure
2. Being separated from those who knew the old you, and so on.

The risk of inaction refers to things that could happen when you don’t take action. Some of such risks include:

1. The regret of not trying
2. The possibility of not discovering who you can become, and so on.

The difference between these two risks is that the risk of action has rewards, and the other doesn’t. As believers who receive the gift of salvation, we decided to act with faith.

It may seem like a risky and daunting move, but God has saved us from the risk of inaction through that action. It is then up to us to continually embrace the risks of action for the rewards ahead.

How can we always embrace the right action as we work?

You can only work by taking action. However, working on the wrong things is a type of inaction because the right things aren’t being acted upon.

To embrace the right action is to know God’s mind for every season. Yes, God has empowered us through His spirit so that we become channels for His sovereign will to be manifested on earth.

But every season requires a different expression of our gifts. Some are more intense than others. Some require us to slow down, and others require us to change course.

We can discern these seasons by focusing on two things:

1. Ensuring we please God
2. Ensuring we look for ways to serve others 

When we do this, the Holy Spirit can steer us in the right direction every time. We get saved from the inaction of not doing His will and move towards the rewards of doing it.

“I take action on God’s call upon my life.”

This can be in any role. Lawyers, Creatives, and Carpenters can all be called to do what they do. What assignment have you been putting off for so long? Desire to always take the right action, and God will lead you right.
