“In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins according to the riches of His grace.” Ephesians 1:7 NKJV
Sometimes, we feel like we don’t have the right to live extraordinary lives because of our past or present mistakes. But God is the one who gets to choose who lives an extraordinary life and who doesn’t. And guess what? He has blessed us all equally.
If we were judged by our good works, heaven would be imbalanced because we would compare ourselves with some people who feel like they deserve more based on what they’ve done. But that’s not how it works. God determined how redemption should happen, and He did that through the blood of Jesus Christ.
Everyone has equal access to Him. There’s no hierarchy. We all get to receive an assignment if we yield. When we choose to receive the gift of salvation, we get the opportunity to live an extraordinary life.
How can we make our work extraordinary?
Walking with God is an adventure. He takes us to new places and turns, as long as we trust Him. That is extraordinary because you are His child. God has given us work to do, and it can be as extraordinary as we want it to be.
Guilt can overcome us because of our mistakes, but staying in guilt limits us, and that’s what the enemy wants. God desires that anytime we deviate, we come back to Him because there’s so much He has in store for us. Instead of running away, we should come closer to God and pray for the grace to continue the work He has sent us to do.
God loves us all equally and hasn’t blessed someone more than you. He has blessed us according to our different abilities, just like the parable of the talents. Whether you’ve been blessed with many gifts or just one, it doesn’t matter. The question is, what are you doing with it? Will you allow fear and guilt to cause you to bury your talent, or will you use it to express your Godlikeness here on earth?
“I am God’s own.”
Embrace the fact that God loves you immensely. Take stock of how you have tried to limit your expression of how God has blessed you because you feel unworthy. God loves us greatly and shows us His love every day. Embrace that and let it guide you.
Remember that God has allowed us to live extraordinary lives through Christ. You don’t have to live with guilt and fear. You are redeemed!
