Being radical is not the same thing as rebellion.
Jesus Christ was considered a radical. Satan was a rebel.
Merriam-Webster dictionary defines the word ‘radical’ as “very new and different from what is traditional or ordinary.” Or “having extreme political or social views that are not shared by most people.”
A rebel is a person who opposes or fights against a government.
Just because something is believed by most people doesn’t make it the truth. After all, as the saying goes, “the truth is bitter”. Not every one likes bitter. And the crowd isn’t always right.
Our job is not to uproot what is already in existence. That’s rebellion and Christ didn’t do that while on Earth. Our job is to provide a better, faster and more effective way of accessing the solutions that we carry and produce.
For those who care enough to ask the Father for their unique assignment, He gives them a message.
That message is a truth, which propels the work they do to win just enough “souls” needed to propagate that truth.
This is why acquiring and nurturing one customer could be potentially equal to ten future customers.
Most people walk around with a combination of lies and half truths. The man that knows the truth, practices and shares it is perceived as being different.
Radicalism yields fruits when you make people see that their temporary solution will not make that problem permanently go away. In other words, they only have part of the truth and you have a way to solve the whole puzzle.
It’s like saying, “the truth I have will set you free.”
We’re not to make “potential customers” feel less of themselves or look stupid because of the temporary solution they’ve been using for the past few decades of their lives.
We’re to give them the promise of being more knowledgeable by hearing what we have to say.
Regard your solution and the work you do as water. Don’t tell people they’ve been drinking a beverage and are stupid for believing it was water. After all, they only wanted to quench their thirst.
Leave them with the belief that it was water, but then present your permanent solution – the living water (be it a software, investment plan, service, etc) that will quench that thirst for a lifetime. They themselves will come to realise that they’ve been drinking a beverage all along. John 4:13-15.
Remember, your way is better, faster and more effective.
