Power Up Your SPIRIT

Just as man was empowered in the garden to do evil, God has also empowered us through His Spirit to do good.
The coming of Jesus and the Holy Spirit was God’s game plan to ensure that the day of the Lord was a collection of multiple events that happened not just through one person, but everyone who has His Spirit.
So, whenever you allow the Holy Spirit to work in you to do good, evil gets defeated.
The lines between good and evil can get undefined sometimes because man can choose to do evil and see it as good. This was the adversary’s intention in the beginning when he caused man to define what those terms meant.
But with power changing hands, we have now been empowered with God’s spirit and wisdom to do good; God’s way and bring heaven on earth with every action.
This doesn’t mean evil won’t happen to us, but we decide what to do with it.

What does the day of the Lord look like in the work we do?
The coming, death, and resurrection of Jesus was a big event that caused liberation for God’s creation. We also have such big events in our daily lives.
When a nation is rid of its corrupt leaders through the actions of different people striving to do good, that’s a big event.
When a policy that has crippled your business for so long gets lifted and allows you to make more impact, that’s a big event.
When you act and do good work based on an instruction from God, that’s a big event.
Through your work, you’re an instrument that God uses to cause similar big events to happen. A big event is not defined by the size or number of people but by the impact on you.
