Access the Realm of Impossible Results

“For with God nothing will be impossible.” Luke 1:37 NKJV

Have you ever had a problem that looked like you’d never come out of? Have you ever felt powerless for something you desperately want to fix?

Back in school, I felt like I had more problems than I could count. Sometimes, I felt doomed, saying to myself, “This problem will not disappear.”

But every time, sometimes unknowingly, I realise the problem no longer exists. It vanishes as if it were not there.

Now, whenever I’m faced with a huge problem, the narrative is, “This too shall pass.” This happens because I have seen how previously impossible issues have passed.

In the anchor scripture, Mary heard two impossible acts. The first was that she would get pregnant as a virgin and give birth to the Messiah. The second was that Elizabeth, who had been barren, was also pregnant. No wonder the angel had to reassure her.

As you read this today, the Lord is also reassuring you that nothing is impossible with Him.

How can we surmount impossibilities as we work?

Jesus performed impossible acts. He raised the dead, healed the sick, made disabled people walk, walked on water, and so on. He could do this because the Holy Spirit was with him.

When you’re empowered, you’re given resources that;

1. you never had access to before
2. you could never have gotten on your own
3. only someone higher than you can give
4. are intended to help you do something you’ve never done.

You can’t say you’ve been empowered yet deliver the same results. These resources help us break the limits of impossibilities so that we begin to help others realise that impossibilities don’t exist. They don’t exist because God constantly empowers us through His Spirit to explore His realm of possibilities.

So, if you notice yourself thinking, working, or seeing things differently, that’s because you’ve accessed a realm that ordinary people can’t—the realm of God-possibilities.

“I can do all things through Christ.”

Have you attempted to do all things through your strength? 

I’ve been there and done that. It left me exhausted and bitter. But Paul’s statement in 2 Timothy 1:7 is the affirmation we must constantly say when faced with impossibilities. If Christ can do it, then I can, too.
